Day 1: Titicaca Lake: Uros & Amantani Islands
Between 7:30am to 8:00am we will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to the main port to board a boat to the Uros floating islands. Uros is made entirely out of reeds, and the lives of the people of the area revolve around their reed-weaving tradition. They will welcome you with a charm smile, and also will share their traditions, history, culture and their deep knowledge of building their famous floating houses.
Afterwards you will take a boat ride to the next island, Amantani, where you will spend the night with a local family. It will be a basic accommodation but very memorable as you will be surrounded by a nice family and have the opportunity to see how the indigenous people live. Once you arrive, in the afternoon you will climb to the mountains Pachamama and Pachatata, they are important figures that symbolize the principle of harmony and compatibility in the Andean ideology. From there you will observe the sunset. Dinner is included with the local family.

Day 2: Titicaca Lake: Amantani & Taquile Islands
After an early breakfast we will board a boat to the next island called Taquile where you will learn about the main activities of local people: agriculture and textile. “Taquile and its Textile Art” were honored by being proclaimed “Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity” by UNESCO. People from Taquile are known for their fine hand-woven textiles and clothing, which are the highest-quality handicrafts in Peru. Then you will enjoy the lunch with amazing views of the Lake Titicaca and Mountains of Bolivia. Then we will board the boat and transfer you back to your hotel in Puno.
