
Day 1: Welcome to Lima
Upon arrival in the city of Lima, you will be welcomed by one of our representatives who will transfer you to your hotel. You have the day free to explore more of this cosmopolitan city.

Day 2: Lima City Tour
We will pick up you at your hotel around 9:00am or 14:00pm approx. to start the City tour in Lima, known as “The City of Kings “. This is a fascinating tour in our historical center that you will enjoy with our expert local guide. We will show you the hidden palaces and castles of our city, the great Saint Francisco Monastery and the impressive underground Catacombs, the Main Square, Archbishop’s Palace and the Municipal Palace. Other great places you will visit are: the Wall Park, Train Station Palace, the unique old fashioned “Cordano Bar”, colorful mansion palaces, Jiron de la Union pathway, first Photoshop Palace in South America, Post Office Palace, Historical Rimac Bridge and lovely surrounded wooden Balconies. Furthermore we offer a special tour who can take you to visit The Original Spain Mansion Palace and enjoy its amazing collection of 18th Century paintings, sculptures, wooden railings, trendy gilded mirrors and great original terrace. After the tour we will drop off you at your hotel.

Day 3: Journey to Tambopata -River journey to lodge
We will transfer you back to the airport for your morning flight to the jungle Puerto Maldonado. Upon your arrival in Puerto Maldonado considered Peru’s Capital of Biodiversity. Our representative will be waiting for you to welcome you to the city. Then, we will visit the city in our bus.
Once the tour is finished, we will head to the port to board the motorized boat and navigate along the Madre de Dios river. This journey is amazing and will take us to the heart of the Amazon, if we are lucky enough we will observe ronsocos, caimans, turtles, herons, cormorants and many other animals on the natural environment.
At arrival to Ecoamazonia Lodge we will be welcomed with a delicious drink and then we will settle in our bungalows. We all will have lunch together.
After lunch, you will be accompanied by our professional guide through the main trail to Caiman Cocha which is a small lake and where you can find specimens of Black Caiman (Melanosuchus Niger) and Caiman (Caiman Crocodilus).
We will be amazed by the spectacular sunset in the Amazon, is one of the most memorable experiences of the trip. It is colorful and intense. Back to the lodge, you will enjoy a tasty dinner. You can also relax and have a fun time at the bar.

Day 4: Forest trails and wetlands – lake Apu Victor
Waking up to the sound of singing birds, we will have breakfast that will provide us the energy we need for a day full of exciting experiences.
We will start hiking deep in the jungle, all the trails and bridges are well maintained. During the journey we will be able to observe a wide variety of flora and fauna. We will continue until we get to the majestic Lake Apu Victor and contemplate its clear water surrounded by swamp and trees.
Then we will head to the Observation Deck, from this point we will have a great wide view of the lake and we can see all the animals that live in this habitat such as parrots, macaws, toucans, camungos, shanshos, herons, caimans, turtles. If we are lucky maybe, we will have the chance to witness the appearance of the giant otter, which is one of the most impressive animals of the forest.
At the end of this amazing experience we will make our way back to the lodge to enjoy lunch.

Day 5: Lost Cocha – Monkey Island
After an early breakfast, we will begin our next adventure. Our guide will accompany us into de depths of the virgin forest. We will hike until we get to the Lost Cocha, habitat of a huge diversity of animals. Here we will observe otters, caimans, turtles, tapirs and colorful birds, also, the majestic jaguar and many different species of fishes. This area is exclusive and property of Ecoamazonia Ecological Reserve, they keep it intact and well-preserved.
Then we will head to the Observation Deck, from this point we will see the vast and magic rainforest. Afterwards we will have a relaxing canoe ride on the lake before to return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, we will explore the Monkey Island, this is a unique and special places located only few minutes away from the Lodge. While hiking, we will see breathtaking landscapes with a diversity of flora and specially a big variety of monkeys living in the natural habitat. We will find maquisapas, capuchins, small lion monkeys, frailes, cotos and other animals such as coati, sloths and birds.
Our journey ends contemplating the sunset. Back to the lodge we will have a delicious dinner.

Day 6: Departure – dawn river journey – Journey to Cusco
After a pleasant rest at the lodge, the signing of the birds will wake up us. Breakfast will be ready to enjoy and then we will return to Puerto Maldonado, please provide your flight details to organize your transfer to the airport. Your guide will provide all the assistance you need once you arrive in Puerto Maldonado to take your flight to Cusco. Once you land in Cusco, one of our representatives will be already waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel.

Day 7: City tour
You have a free morning to enjoy and explore Cusco city. At 1:30pm approx. we will meet you at the lobby of your hotel to begin the city tour. We will visit the Cathedral, Koricancha; the most sacred site or temple in the Inca religion, Sacsayhuaman, a testimonial to Incan architectural skills due to the compiled of massive big stones, Qenqo, a semi-circular amphitheater with amazing underground galleries, Pucapucara and Tambomachay. After the tour we will drop you off at your hotel at around 6:30pm.

Day 8: Sacred Valley Tour
We will pick you up around 8:00am at your hotel to star the full day tour to the Sacred Valley. We will begin the tour in the archeological site of Pisac, where we will visit the beautiful inka buildings; Pisaq also offers a souvenir shopping in a traditional market. The most impressive feature of this archeological site of Pisaq is the agricultural terracing, which sweeps around the south and east flanks of the mountain with graceful curves and also you will find the largest known Inca cemetery. Then we will keep going by bus to Urubamba where we will have lunch. From there, the trip continues just half an hour to Ollantaytambo, a magical town at the foot of the Sacred Valley, where you can explore the Sun Temple with incredible stone walls. After the guided tour you will have time to buy some textiles, visit the town and have dinner in Ollantaytambo town before you take the train to Aguas Calientes. Upon to your arrival, our representative will take you to your hotel in Aguas Calientes.

Day 9: Machu Picchu
After an early breakfast around 05:00 am we will pick you up at your hotel to take you to the bus station and then board the bus to Machu Picchu archeological site. The guide goes up with you and once there you will have a 2 hour guided tour. We will visit the Intiwatana (Temple of the Sun), the Temple of the Condor, the Temple of the Three Windows, Andean terraces and other places of interest. After the guided tour you will have enough time to walk around the archaeological complex, capture these incredible memories with your camera and feel and the power and tranquility of this sacred place.
You have the option to hike up Huayna Picchu, the Young Mountain ($12), or Machu Picchu Mountain, the Old Mountain ($10)( prior booking necessary). In the afternoon you walk and take the bus down to Aguas Calientes to take the afternoon train to Ollantaytambo from where we will transport you back to Cusco by bus, arriving in the evening.

Day 10: Maras –Moray and salt Mines
The tour starts between 8:00-8:30, time we will pick you up from you hotels to begin our tour visiting the Colonial town of Maras and its church. From Maras we continue to the nearby Inca site of Moray, a magnificent series of terrace circles set into the ground that were once used by the Incas for experimentation with crops. Our final destination is the salt mines which have been used since Pre-Inca times. Water from a subterranean stream is channeled through pools where it evaporates and leaves behind pure salt crystals. With thousands of stark white pools stretching down the valley, the views are stunning.We will return to Cusco around 14:30pm approx.

Day 11: Journey to Puno
After breakfast, we will transfer to the bus station for your journey to Puno. The comfortable tourist-class bus includes a stop for lunch and guided visits to four archaeological sites along the way: the baroque style Andahuaylillas Church, known as the Sistine Chapel of America, the monumental remains of the Temple of Viracocha at Raqchi, La Raya Pass at 14,220 feet (4,335 m.a.s.l.) and the lithic Museum of Pukará.
The arrival in Puno will be around 5:00pm. You will be welcomed by one of our representatives who will transfer to your hotel in the historic center, where you will spend the night and rest at your leisure.

Day 12: Lake Titicaca –Uros Floating Islands and Amantani
Between 7:30am to 8:00am we will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to the main port to board a boat to the Uros floating islands. Uros is made entirely out of reeds, and the lives of the people of the area revolve around their reed-weaving tradition. They will welcome you with a charm smile, and also will share their traditions, history, culture and their deep knowledge of building their famous floating houses.
Afterwards you will take a boat ride to the next island, Amantani, where you will spend the night with a local family. It will be a basic accommodation but very memorable as you will be surrounded by a nice family and have the opportunity to see how the indigenous people live. Once you arrive, in the afternoon you will climb to the mountains Pachamama and Pachatata, they are important figures that symbolize the principle of harmony and compatibility in the Andean ideology. From there you will observe the sunset. Dinner is included with the local family.

Day 13: Lake Titicaca – Taquile Islands
After an early breakfast we will board a boat to the next island called Taquile where you will learn about the main activities of local people: agriculture and textile. “Taquile and its Textile Art” were honored by being proclaimed “Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity” by UNESCO. People from Taquile are known for their fine hand-woven textiles and clothing, which are the highest-quality handicrafts in Peru. Then you will enjoy the lunch with amazing views of the Lake Titicaca and Mountains of Bolivia. Then we will board the boat and transfer you back to your hotel in Puno.

Day 14: Journey to Colca Canyon
At 7:30 am approx. we will pick you up at your hotel in Puno and transfer you to the bus station to start the journey to Chivay; along the way you will see the biggest volcano Chachani; a big variety of migratory birds as flamingos; small lakes and the Pampa Cañahuas (National Reserves Salinas y Aguada Blanca) where you can see vicuñas, llamas and -alpacas. Once you arrive in Chivay, one of our representatives will transfer you to your hotel, you will have the afternoon free to enjoy the town.
You will have the chance to enjoy the thermal baths whose medicinal water range from 35 to 38 degrees in the pools. You will spend the night at a nice village located just in the middle of the Colca Canyon. It is really special.

Day 15: Colca Canyon
After an early wake up and Breakfast,at 6:30 am we continue to Mirador del Condor (Lookout Point) to spot the biggest birds in the Andesand enjoy the breathtaking views of the second deepest canyon of the world. Along the way back to Chivay we will get different natural view points, tombs ,pre-Incas statues, colonial churches,and the charm Yanque and Maca towns.Return to the Arequipa city around 5 or 6 p.m.

Day 16: Arequipa
You will have some free time to enjoy a nice breakfast and have a first look around. In the afternoon we will explore the colonial city known as the “White City” of Arequipa. We will visit the Plaza de Armas and also one of the most fascinating religious buildings in Peru, Santa Catalina monastery. It was built with volcanic sillar stone in 1579 and serves as a cloister for Dominican nuns.
We will finish the tour at 17:00pm aprox, and then we will drop off you at your hotel.
At 8:30pm we pick you up and drive you to the bus station to Nazca which departs at 9:30pm.

Day 17: Overfly Nazca lines-Paracas
Depending on what time you arrive, sometimes long trip buses tend to change. Upon arrival time our representative will pick you up and take you to a small airport for your flight over the lines for around 20 minutes. You have the chance to see great and enigmatic figures as: hummingbirds, spiders, monkeys, Condor, geometric shapes and anthropomorphic figures. Then have lunch at any restaurant by yourself around there and we will transfer you back to the bus station afterwards for your bus to Paracas. Once you arrive in Paracas our representative will pick you up and take you to your hotel.

Day 18: Paracas – Lima
At 8:00 am we pick you up at your hotel to start your visit with an early marine excursion to Ballestas Islands, a chain of rock formations home of a rich diversity of life; sea lions, penguins, pelicans among other species. As we sail through the coast we’ll discover an enigmatic figure, El Candelabro, a large shape carved into the coast related to the Nasca Lines. A whole new experience awaits for us in land, the Paracas Reserve coastal tour, a drive through the coast and the most beautiful shores this natural reserve has to offer. After the ride you will have time to explore the area and then we will bring you back to the bus station for your bus to Lima. End of our service.
