Moray, Maras & Salt mines ½ day
The tour starts between 8:00-8:30, time we will pick you up from you hotels to begin our tour visiting the Colonial town of Maras. From Maras we keep going to the amazing Inca site of Moray, place where you can see a magnificent series of terrace circles set into the ground that were once used by the Incas for experimentation with crops as corn, potatoes etc.Our final destination is the salt mines which have been used since Pre-Inca and Inca times. Water from a subterranean stream is channeled through many pools where they evaporate and leave behind pure salt crystals. With thousands of white pools the views are stunning. We will return to Cusco around 14:30pm approx.
