
Day 1: Lake Titicaca Tour
After enjoying breakfast, we will embark in an adventure sailing the highest navigable lake in the world. We will visit the floating islands of Uros, the islands are made of reed. You will be welcomed for the people of the islands and they will share their culture, knowledge and lifestyle. Afterwards we will sail 30km through the lake until we arrive to our next destination: Taquile Island. Please note that Taquile is known for its special and intricate geography and for the nearly 500 stairs that lead to the town from the boat. Once you overcome this obstacle, you will visit Taquile and its Textile Art that are honored by being proclaimed “Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity” by UNESCO. It is a perfect place to get breathtaking views of the lake. Then you will have free time to enjoy lunch before to start our way back to Puno.
Once we arrive in Puno, we will take you to your hotel to rest or enjoy the nightlife of the city

Day 2: Puno To La Paz
In the morning we will transfer you to the station to take the bus to La Paz, you will enjoy the scenic views and the amazing landscapes of the Altiplano (Highlands) on the way, and this is really special. You will cross the border from Peru to Bolivia. The road passes through the town of El Alto and down into a bowl shaped canyon that holds the city.
Upon arrival, our representative will be waiting for you to take you to the hotel where you will spend the night at your leisure.

Day 3: La Paz & Moon Valley Tour
La Paz impresses all the visitors, the houses are built along and on the top of the hills, it’s surprising how they defy the gravity, they also give a color to the city that is crowned by the great Illamani Mountain. It is also nice to see “cholitas”, native women who wear the typical costumes.
During our tour we will appreciate different aspects of the city of La Paz, the cultural, historical, architectural and natural; all of them represent the wealth and value of the city. We will visit the Murillo Square, the Cathedral, the Government Palace, san Francisco church, Quilli Quilli overview point, the Gold museum, the witches market and the Moon valley.
The Moon Valley is a unique place since the geological erosion has formed sandstone monoliths, monoliths that were shaped over thousands of years. This gives the place an unreal lunar surface appearance. It is located 15KM away from the city.
At 8PM we will transfer you to the bus station from your hotel to start the journey to Uyuni.

Day 4: Uyuni – Salt Flats – Incahuasi (Fish Island) – San Juan
At 7AM you will be arriving to Uyuni, we will transfer you from the bus station to our office, where you will have some free time to enjoy breakfast until the tour begins at 11AM.
In this tour we will visit the world’s largest salt desert. Along the way we will visit the following places:
Train cementery; you will see vintage and old fashioned trains and locomotives from late 1890’s and early 1900’s. They were used to carry and transport salt and minerals throughout Bolivia and South America. At that time they were an important key of the industry.
Colchani Town; is the entrance to the salt desert, here you can observe the process of extraction of salt by hand from its original form.
Salt Hotel, it is located just in the heart of the salt desert, it was built entirely from blocks made of salt. It is considered as a beautiful piece of art because of its details made of salt, such as chairs, beds and tables and all the main structure as well.
Incahuasi island; known as “Isla del Pescado”, this island is located in the heart of the desert too and it is populated by the giant Cacti with a length of 10 meters. From the top of the island you will be able to see the wonderful landscape of the salt flats of Uyuni. We will provide a nice lunch and afterwards we will go to the town of San Juan, once here we will provide dinner and a basic accommodation with a local family.

Day 5: San Juan – Tree Rock – Lagoons – Laguna Colorada
At 7AM you will be arriving to Uyuni, we will transfer you from the bus station to our office, where you will have some free time to enjoy breakfast until the tour begins at 11AM.

Day 6: Laguna Colorada – Laguna Verde – Uyuni
We will depart early in the morning to enjoy the Geyseer and volcanic vents known as “Sol de Mañana” (Morning Sun), then we will continue to the hot springs of Polques where you can have a nice relaxing time in the water, afterwards we will visit beautiful Green and white Lagoons at the feet of the Volcano, at the altitude of 4350 m.a.s.l. In this place you can appreciate the intense green color of the lagoon; the color is due its high content of magnesium which is found in the area. Once the tour is finished we will start the way back to the town of Uyuni, the way passes through the Valley of Rocks and the small towns of Villa Alota, Kulpinak and San Cristobal. We will arrive to Uyuni at around 6:30PM.
